Thanksgiving, what a time it is to
eat massive amounts of food and not feel sorry for doing such. It is a time for
being thankful for everything you are given with one’s life. Let me tell you
right now, I am beyond thankful for my food, family, and friends.
When I went home, I got to see and
be with my baby girl. No, she is not an actually baby nor a girl. She is my 14 years old Austrian Shepard, Stella. She is the love of my life and although
she is getting up there in age, she still cuddles with me all the same.
I also was able to spend some
quality time with my family. Beyond just seeing my parents, I was briefly able
to spend some time with my sister. She recently bought a house and started her
big girl job, so her free time has become limited to say the
least. We all spent Friday together, which was the day all of us had work off
to have a thanksgiving meal together.
Personally, I am too lazy to go out
hours before a store opens to stand in a line for a relatively good deal. I
love sleep and relaxing in the warmth of my house, so Black Friday shopping is
not on my priorities.
I am thankful for having time to
spend with my family and friends. It just is sad that my family's numbers have
dwindled in size over the years.
Until Next Time,
Matt
